"Johnson's War"
In this picture President Lyndon Johnson looks out over the scene from a television set. Notice that those closest to him have developed heads shaped like TV screens. The Vietnam War was the first extensively televised war. Many protestors called the conflict "Johnson's War."
A common slogan on campuses was "Hey, hey, LBJ, how many kids did you kill today?"
