Subject: Alcohol
Synopsis: Unidentified individual proves alcohol to jail prisoner by passing a bottle through the jail’s window. The receiver of the spirits became so intoxicated that jail guards were concerned as to whether the man would recover.
Text:
Some one passed a bottle of alcohol through the window to a prisoner in jail yesterday. The fellow took a liberal dose of the fiery fluid and became insensible from the effects. The officers feared that the fellow would not recover from the indulgence.
